Position Overview

Freddie Mac’s Single Family Division is currently seeking an Enterprise Data Strategy & Governance Manager to manage and support the data quality function. The Single-Family Data Governance & Management organization (‘SFDG&M’) is responsible for providing data quality tools and a framework for access to the tools, governance and accountability used in business processes.

Responsibilities include:
* Execute Data Quality strategy and roadmaps items
* Create and implement communication strategy for the DQ Center of Excellence
* Lead adoption for the Data Quality (DQ) Center of Excellence
* Manage the request intake and onboarding/close out process for customers, resources, technology and access management for the DQ Center of Excellence
* Create and monitor KPIs and metrics to measure success of the DQ Center of Excellence
* Establish and monitor SLAs with IT and various business areas
* Provide tool governance and controls for the DQ Center of Excellence
* Chair the Data Quality Management user community and issue management meetings
* Support annual updates relating to DQ for the SF Data Governance Standard
* Create and execute training plan for Informatica Data Quality tool
* Manage the SOX and operational controls that are monitored on the SF data quality dashboard
* Execute reporting for monthly DQ BPR and other adhoc reporting requests


* Typically has 8 to 10 years of overall progressive experience supporting a divisional/enterprise data function, or similar experience
* Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience
* Experience leading teams and coaching subordinates
* 2 or more years of project management experience
* Knowledge SOX Control design and implementation
* Excellent writing and editing should be demonstrated through a work portfolio of past professional communications
* Strong critical thinking skills

Preferred Skills

* Knowledge of Informatica’s Data Quality tool
* Advanced degree or work towards an advanced degree
