Position Overview

Reporting to the Senior Director for Enterprise Risk Policy, this position is responsible for assisting in the design and implementation of the integrated risk policy framework (Framework). The position will support the development of the framework and help to ensure alignment of corporate and risk governance for the company. This will entail working cross-divisionally at various levels within the company.

The position will be responsible for managing program elements of the policy framework, including policy development and reviews, tracking the issuance of policies and standards, supporting the implementation of various policy/standard issuances, status reporting, supporting the coordination of communication and training activities for corporate risk policies/standards, and performing research to support the policy function.

Position Details:
* Support the development, review, communications and training activities for corporate risk policies and standards.
* Coordinate with risk policy/standard authors across the company on the integrated risk framework
* Review and edit risk policies/standards to assess adherence to established pre-issuance and post-issuance framework principles and alignment with the Enterprise Risk Policy
* Develop and provide regular status reporting and tracking reports
* Develop content for senior management reporting
* Develop, implement and regularly monitor Framework repositories
* Support the maintenance of the divisional delegations of authority
* Perform research as needed to analyze situations that require an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives, especially within the context of the three lines of defense and risk management activities, as well as industry best practices


* Bachelors degree
* Minimum of 7+ years of experience of professional experience
* Strong understanding of corporate governance best practices, and the functions of an enterprise risk framework within the context of the three lines of defense
* Demonstrated strong writing, editing and communication skills
* Knowledge of policy development and enterprise risk framework
* Ability to build productive relationships at all levels of the enterprise and to demonstrate influencing skills
* Ability to interact both verbally and in writing with senior and executive management
* Ability to think strategically (short and long-term) and evaluate options and decisions
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and work within tight timeframes, shifting direction as needed
* Business acumen
