Position Overview

Centralized Reporting and Data Analytics Team in Single-Family Strategic Delivery is seeking a Data Analytics Senior to lead the creation of data infrastructure, report design, and effective development of reporting and analytic tools. The candidate will be a part of a cross-functional team supporting the various teams across the Division by linking data and reporting capabilities to provide innovative reporting and analysis solutions to support the achievement of strategic goals.

Responsibilities:

*Building partnerships with Business partners to develop technical solutions for reporting and analytic needs
*Participation in the full life cycle of a project, which includes identification of requirements, prototype, design, development, testing and implementation
*Acting as liaison between the business area and technical team and act as the subject matter expert for assigned project(s)
*Analyzing business requirements to independently convert them into detailed system requirements and functional specifications
*Interacting with senior customer personnel on requirements and technical matters frequently requiring coordination across organizational lines
*Independently analyze data and produce accurate and user friendly visualizations
*Applying project development discipline to all reporting solutions
*Leading training sessions for business users

Qualifications

*Typically 3-5 years of experience developing analytic reporting solutions using business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Microstrategy, or comparable BI software
*BA Degree or equal work experience
*Knowledge of data analysis and/or ETL tools such as a SQL, SAS, Python, Informatica
*Strong data and financial analytical skills; Ability to quickly understand complex financial concepts
*Ability to use various data analysis techniques to collect, explore, and identify the right data to be visualized in a Business Intelligence tool
*Prior UX/UI design experience (knowledge of reporting and dashboard best practices, visual standards, etc.) a strong plus
*Ability to perform data discovery and find patterns and relationships in data
*Organizational skills and the ability to multitask; Prioritizing assignments and working independently to ensure work is completed on schedule and meets customer expectations
*Collaborate in a team environment to produce a quality product
*Strong communication and presentation skills
*BS/BA Degree in Finance, Computer Science, MIS or related field
*History of project level work experience with increased responsibility

Preferred Skills

*Minimum 3-5 years of related data analytics experience
*Business Intelligence tools such as a Tableau, Microstrategy, or comparable BI software preferred
*Knowledge of data analysis and/or ETL tools such as SQL, SAS, Python Informatic a strong plus
