Position Overview

We are looking for an energetic recruiting and talent development professional to shepherd the most valuable assets to our company… people! Candidate will have the opportunity to design, test, and refine approaches to a variety of challenges including recruiting, ongoing skills development, job rotation, mentor/buddy programs, and more. The role will join a collection of fast-paced teams that provide centralized services for Freddie Mac’s largest line of business, the Single-Family business. From meeting with teammates to understand their hiring & development needs, to leveraging your network of external recruiters to source talent, to helping our talent grow into the next big thing, this role is all about the people.

A Day in the Life…

*A quick checkin with teammates and business partners to get organized for the day
*Facilitating the recruitment process, from interviewing to organizing college campus visits
*Networking with internal and external partners to connect the opportunities with the talent
*Designing and coordinating training programs across the division
*Recommending approaches to various retention programs, such as job rotation
*Using data to measure, analyze, and improve processes for attracting and developing people
*Sharing ideas for process improvements to make us more successful

Qualifications

Candidates Must…

*BA Degree or equivalent work experience (typically 5-7 years)
*Have expert knowledge in working with social media and external job board recruiting methods
*Love people, be creative, be flexible, be expert communicators, and able to juggle multiple
priorities

Preferred Skills

*Strong project management skills preferably with college campuses
*Good leadership skills and can build relationships
*Good consulting experience
